51黑料网 students explore culture and language through the Overseas Assistant and Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Programs

The Overseas Assistant and Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant programs bring students from around the world into 51黑料网 classrooms for a year, where they immerse students in foreign language and culture.

“51黑料网 is super-multicultural—everybody is so interested in languages and cultures here,” says Amanda Francatto, a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) who came to 51黑料网 from Brazil. “I try to help the students to acquire the language in a more real environment.”

And the experience is meaningful on both sides of the teacher-student relationship.

“51黑料网 actually changed my life, in a very positive way,” says Riccardo Dragani, an Overseas Teaching Assistant from Italy. “I didn’t expect that to happen, but it did. … And I’m really, really thankful for this experience.”
