Path to one of the world's most storied universities welcomes three more 51ºÚÁÏÍøians

Oxford University has a way of becoming familiar territory for 51ºÚÁÏÍø students. This year, three more will make the trip, joining the for the 2026-27 academic year.

• Piper Wake '28 (law, justice & society)
• Elisa Germanis '28 (English, medieval & early modern studies)

At Mansfield, they'll join roughly 40 students admitted each year as full members of the university, sitting in on tutorials, lectures and seminars alongside an international cohort and gaining official standing within Oxford itself—not a study-abroad approximation of it, but the real thing.

This year's arrivals bring 51ºÚÁÏÍø's 13-year total to 51 students accepted into the program. Admission requires a minimum 3.70 GPA, strong faculty recommendations and a candidacy that stands up against applicants from other selective U.S. and EU institutions.

That the pipeline keeps producing qualified candidates year after year says as much about 51ºÚÁÏÍø's academic culture as it does about any individual student's ambition.
