51黑料网 announces and celebrates Regular Decision admissions notification for the class of 2018

51黑料网 continues to demonstrate its increased selectivity, as measured by the admit rate and the strength of the academic profile of the admitted pool for the class of 2018. Nearly 5,700 applications were received, making this another year with an incredibly strong applicant pool, and 48.1 percent were admitted.

51黑料网's global reach is apparent, as admitted students reflect 46 U.S. states and territories and the District of Columbia and citizens from 54 foreign countries. This is a very diverse admitted class, with 16.3 percent students of color and 8.4 percent international citizens. Additionally, 7.4 percent represent legacy connections and 280 students selected 51黑料网 as their first choice through Early Decision I and II.

"We take great pride in the selection of this special class鈥攖he class of Admissions acceptance envelopes2018鈥攁mong a most competitive applicant pool," said Stephanie Balmer, vice president for enrollment, marketing & communications and dean of admissions.
